HISTORY AND EXPERTISE BIOINFORMATICS MEETS FINANCE
Alexandria Technology is named after the Great Library of Alexandria, which came to be regarded as the capital of knowledge and learning of the ancient world. We are one of the earliest innovators in the field of Natural Language Processing text analysis and have built the most powerful NLP platform in the industry.
Prior to co-founding Alexandria, Dr. Ruey-Lung Hsiao’s research at UCLA focused on computer science, statistics and bioinformatics, a cross-disciplinary field that incorporates advanced methodologies to understand the human and other genomes. Dr. Hsiao honed and enhanced these techniques at Alexandria and applied them to deciphering the unstructured content of financial news, understanding the news contextually, and delivering it to investment professionals in context-specific and personalized ways.
CEO, Dan Joldzic, CFA, FRM, brings deep experience in quantitative finance and machine learning and builds products and solutions tailored specifically for institutional investors.
